This utility can be used to import OSD (Softgrid Application) files into a Microsoft App-V (Softgrid) database (previously this was a manual process that required several steps and was easy to screw up). In fact, sftImport can even import multiple OSD's at once (i.e. an entire folder) or via a CSV file. This tool is great whether you manually configure your environments or whether you write configuration scripts.

With release 2.3 we also bring you Microsoft App-V 4.5 support.

Some applications, especially client-server applications, have the need to be active all the time. This can cause problems for applications which are released without the ability to be a service.

DeNamiK brings you the Service Wrapper, which can launch and control different predefined applications.

What’s new in release 2.0

Well one of the biggest improvements must be starting applications impersonating users and a graphical user interface to change the configuration. The DeNamiK Service Wrapper has been rebuild from scratch which resulted in dozens of minor improvements, bug fixes and cosmetic changes.

What’s new in release 2.1

We have added two new features to the DeNamiK Service Wrapper. You can now choose to restart processes when they are closed by users. It’s also possible to stop the DeNamiK Service Wrapper service when a process is stopped.
While rolling out many different servers and applications unattended, we used to use acsr.exe to alter text in different files. Acsr.exe works, but a big downside of acsr.exe is the lack of command line help switches, and status messages after running acsr.exe; error or success. Especially the lack of status messages can be time consuming! Time is something we as professionals don’t have!

DeNamiK brings you a command line tool, which can help you replace strings of any kind, in any file. Though this will not be the most advanced tool DeNamiK will release, it sure will be handy!
In most organizations support users (i.e. helpdesk, servicedesk, webdesigners, etc.) have restricted account-access rights on local workstations or servers (when using Server Based Computing). In many cases users are only allowed to use a specified set of services and executables to minimize the security risks and maximize work time.

Depending the organization structure, these restrictions most often apply to tools like ‘command.com’, ‘cmd.exe’ and ‘ping.exe’. To be able to provide this group of users the ability to ping servers, printers and other network connected devices, without having to publish ‘command.com’, ‘cmd.exe’, ‘ping.exe’ etc, we have created the DeNamik “Ping-it’ tool.
This simple, but effective command-line tool can be used to disable or enable Network Interface Cards (NIC) with only the name of the connection.
